Coasting For Kids at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

Even though we were headed to Patriot for the final ERT session we stopped to take a look at Steel Hawk for two reasons. First off I knew you all would like a few photos of the ride and secondly we discovered that Steel Hawk has cut off our little short cut to Patriot that snaked around the side of the Go Karts

Steel Hawk sits where the Americana entrance to the park used to sit and for the last few years Worlds of Fun's Go Kart track was.

Worlds of Fun sits on a hill overlooking Kansas City and where Steel Hawk sits is one of the highest points of the park.

Take the already high ground and then go up 301 feet and when Steel Hawk opens you will have a really amazing view of the city.

While Steel Hawk was not open for us Patriot was up and running. Back to Steel Hawk once more it did eventually open in early July 2014.
