Here's John all ready to go for some Patriot time!



Unfortunately with the temps under the magic minimum temperature of forty degrees our hour of exclusive ride time didn't really happen.  Hey you can't control the weather so a few rides down due to the cold for a while is always the risk of attending any opening day.



Still even though our hour ERT session turned into one ride Patriot did not disappoint.  A little tip, if it is cold grab a ride on Patriot first thing because when it runs a little slow there is some wicked hang time on it.



With the cold weather many of World's of Fun's rides were not up and running when the park opened so we wandered around checking everything out while it all warmed up.
