There are two coasters at Worlds of Fun that are worth the trip to Kansas City. The first being Patriot and the second one is Mamba.

Mamba is a nice out and back hypercoaster that takes you up two-hundred and five feet and drops you down to earth the same distance.

There are two things that Mamba is about. The first is airtime with hill after hill to throw you up and out of your seat.

Now Mamba has a bit of a bad rap for being heavily braked half way through the ride killing it's final negative-g run back to the station. This is true most of the year when it has two or three train operation going. Being late in the season with an empty park though we had one train operation and absolutely no mid course brakes to slow us down.
