If you've read the book by Johann Wyss or seen the Disney film of
it then you know that the shipwrecked Robinson family end up settling a
deserted island in the South Pacific. To keep themselves safe from the animals
on the island they build one of the coolest tree houses ever. Of course
this tree is not a real live tree. It's made of steel and concrete
with fake leaves but it looks pretty damn real.

It's a heck of a climb to the top but the views are great and with the sound
of running and falling water due to the water wheel and pulley system it's
one of the most relaxing attractions at the park.

After hauling everything they could from their wrecked ship the Robinson
family got busy not just surviving but adding some serious creature comforts
to their tree house.

With a path of steps that take you up and a set that take you down parts
of the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House looks like something out of the
mind of M.C. Escher.

Here's Bond and his Grandma up in the Tree House. As you can see he
loved it and the fact that he was not hundreds of miles to the north in
the middle of winter weather having to go to school was a relief to him.
