Mission Space is a simulator ride where a trip to mars is simulated. If you remember a ride like that at Walt Disney World from back in the day your memory is correct as this is basically an updated and significantly higher technology version of the old Mission To Mars ride that was a part of Tomorrowland in The Magic Kingdom from 1975 to 1993.

Like Mission to Mars the queue for Mission Space takes you past examples of potential outer space habitats. This is the cross section of a ship that will rotate giving its inhabitants gravity through centrifugal force during their year long voyage to our nearest celestial neighbor.

Before boarding your rocket to Mars you stop in Mission Control where you can switch from the intense to less intense version of Mission Space. I'm not a big fan of motion sickness as it pretty much ruins the day for me so Bond and I took the less intense version of Mission Space.
