The Kilimanjaro Safaris at Walt Disney World - Disney's Animal Kingdom, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

You run into all kinds of animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari including this elephant.

Here is a little behind the scenes secret for you.  There are always animals around you on the Safari because Disney studied the animals behaviors and built things like refrigerated fake rocks into the enclosures that encourage them to be "on stage" at all time.

The Kilimanjaro Safari is a fun, entertaining and really long ride that likewise gets you off of your feet for a very long time so I highly suggest you ride it as outside of Expedition Everest it is the best part of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Ok I said we'd talk about dragons, well now it's time to mention them.  Do you notice this dragon on the Disney's Animal Kingdom logo that is on this bench.  Well the story behind the dragon was that there was to be a "Beastly Kingdom" added to the park featuring dragons, unicorns and other creatures of fantasy.  It has yet to come to pass fifteen years after the park opened so chances are these dragons will disappear especially once the announced James Cameron's "Avatar" themed section opens up a few years down the road.  Hopefully at least Disney adds a coaster or two to that land as a nice inverted coaster themed to "Avatar" would really rock.

Finishing our journey through the past, up into the Himalayas, throughout Asia and onto the savannas of East Africa Bond and I found ourselves with one more attraction to visit...The Tree of Life.

The Tree Of Life is a giant sculpture featuring three hundred and twenty-five different animals carved into the trees bark.  You could spend hours working your way around it counting and probably not get them all.
