Here's the train flying back through
the station from the back spike. For a moment on the back spike
the train stops and you're touching nothing but your restraints...way
cool! S:UE is a great ride and I hope to see more great rides
like this hopefully closer to Illinois.
The last coaster to go into Geauga
Lake before the Six Flags changeover was 1998's Serial Thriller a Vekoma
Suspended Looping Coaster.
I've not been a SLC fan after riding
T2 at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom because it was so rough but I guess
Vekoma got their act together and worked out all the kinks out of the
design and Serial Thriller is a pretty decent ride. It's
especially nice setting over the lake and I really like the "foot
chopper" portion of the ride.
Of course Robb Alvey from
www.themeparkreview.com
is of course shooting some video for his site and the famous Robb and
Sarah's Home Movies 2000.
Jake Smallhorn is my upstairs neighbor
and he decided to join me for this coaster trip...I guess he got more
than he bargained for.
