Six Flags St. Louis, Eureka, Missouri

A coaster that I can ride mask or no mask is the amazingly fun American Thunder.

As usual American Thunder; with the amazing engineering by Great Coasters International, always delivers an amazing ride.

Here is Travis posting something online after another thrilling American Thunder ride.

Remember how I said that Six Flags was going to remove rides that weren't popular or had high maintenance costs.  Well shortly before opening word got out that Six Flags St. Louis was going to loose two rides as the legendary Moon Cars was getting the axe in addition to Superman.  As this ride with such a short course is a shell of itself I can understand wanting to remove it.  My problem is the Moon Cars were one of four rides in the entire park (the Grand Ole Carousel, Tommy G Robertson Railroad and the Grand Ole Carousel) that all guests could enjoy.  Yes this was not a ride that brought guests through gates but loosing a beloved ride that everyone can enjoy doesn't make much sense.

Maybe we will get lucky and the park will decide to bring the Moon Cars back to life elsewhere where it can have a track that is longer.

With the train and carousel down and the Moon Cars gone Colossus was busy sending guests all the way up and over.  The non stop loading that the park added a few years ago is nice but it is still weird just going around once.
