Opening Day 2020 at Six Flags St. Louis, Eureka, Missouri

Step number four of "Doing the Six" is to keep your distance.  While in lines they have little reminders like stickers on the floor every six feet to encourage social distancing.

If the subtle stuff like the stickers in the queue Six Flags also has plenty of signage like this to make sure everyone gets the point.  As someone who is disgusted with advertising after fifteen years working in the industry I'd rather see signs like this rather than advertisements all over the park hawking hair gel or other stuff you don't need.

Six Flags has also taken the step of roping off every other row on rides to keep guests from getting too close.  This cuts ride capacity by half but with the park operating at 25% of the maximum capacity the lines were not bad at all.

With the roll of the wheels underneath you, the jostling of the train, the wind at your cheek and all of the Screamin' Eagle's 3,872 feet of track ahead all of that stress from the last few months went away and all was right in the world.

Speed, drops, thrills, airtime, positive g's, lateral g's and so much fun is just what the doctor ordered.
