Hollowfest 2020 at Six Flags St. Louis, Eureka, Missouri

The Boss was running fantastic as usual.  Removing the helix was the best thing for this coaster as riders don't get jackhammered to death for a finale anymore.

In their quarterly conference call Six Flags did mention that across the chain they were going to be removing 18 rides that were not very popular, had low capacity and were expensive to keep up and running.  My vote is if they are going to take a ride out of Six Flags St. Louis it should be Excalibur.  Yes it just underwent a multi year rehab but that was only because as the only ride on the planet spares are hard to come by.  If it were up to me I'd rip it out and put in Catwoman's Whip right here or maybe a Huss Giant Frisbee or a S&S Screamin' Swing.

Oh look...it's a pun.

It is good to see that Six Flags' vampires were not only taking protection from the sun's harmful UV rays but were wearing masks.  One expects that the pandemic has hit this population quite hard as it is tough to feed on the living when you have to social distance.

While the Blind Fury haunted house that fills this site is fun I kind of prefer the spiders and all of the cobbwebs.
