Rolling on with the new additions here is an interesting one that was announced not so long ago.  Sometime in May The Ninja is going to be turned into "The New Revolution" when for a limited time virtual reality headsets are going to be added to the ride.  You will be able to fly around a virtual city on a path synched up to The Ninja battling aliens with your laser cannon that is activated by tapping on the side of your headset.

It sounds really cool and very well may be a phenomenal next step but I have to admit that I am a little nervous to try it.  I don't handle virtual reality, simulation rides or even immersive first person video games well at all as they give me motion sickness mostly from everything not quite feeling the same as reality.  I am going to give The New Revolution a try and hopefully with the visuals and reality synched up together the ride will be a fun rather than sickening experience for people like me.

Outside of my motion sickness/virtual reality issues I am curious about the over the shoulder restraints and the VR headsets.  I was hoping that Six Flags would replace the restraints with Vekoma's new rubber vest/lap bar system so riders don't break the headsets or get hurt from some of the head banging on the ride.  Maybe they will still replace the restraints.  I have my fingers crossed because just like when they switched restraints on Mr. Freeze that ride went from be in horrible to fantastic.  I think changing out the restraints would do the same thing for Ninja.

Who are the St. Louis Rams?  I'd expect this collectable will end up somewhere other than on the wall outside of the parks sports store where it currently sits.

I was not surprised that Tsunami Soaker was not up and running as warm weather in March is kind of a crap shoot.  As warm as it got I wouldn't have minded a spin on it.

The final new addition that I found around Six Flags St. Louis is the Coca-Cola Cotton Candy Factory food stand in the plaza in front of Batman.
