The second change to Mr. Freeze that made the ride even better was to simply turn the trains around.

The beauty of turning the trains around is instead of facing up into the sky as Mr. Freeze is pushed up to the top of the 218 foot tall spike before stalling you are looking back at the ground as it slowly gets farther and farther away before...

...getting yanked down towards it as the ground fills your view.

Turning around the cars gave Mr. Freeze an even better ride and gave Six Flags St. Louis; a park low on the Six Flags food chain, something new and exciting to promote.
