Here's Mike after a nice night ride on the Boss. I do really
enjoy that coaster in the dark because the whole ride just ends up a big
intense blur.
The Eagle was running fast and furious as well. There's nothing like
speeding into the dark woods on a a coaster during a night with a full moon.
Here's the Riverview Racer again. It's a "Yo-Yo" type swing
ride.
Right next to it is Six Flags St. Louis' Haunted Hayride that takes you
out through the park's bone yard and some spooky scenes. Now ever
since first grade when I won tickets to the Romeoville Jaycees Haunted House
I have been in love with haunted houses. Bond has been pretty scared
of them so we haven't done any.
So on a whim I asked if he would join me on the Haunted Hayride. I
told him that they actors wouldn't be able to get close to him if he sat
in the middle of the wagon and that it would be funny watching people; especially
teenage girls get scared and scream. He agreed, we paid our $5 a person
and we were off.
The queue for the Haunted Hayride took us through Tidal Wave's station and
as you can see the rumors that have sprouted up again this year of the ride
being removed are probably false as the control panel has not been ripped
out.
