After a huge thunderstorm moved through the St. Louis area thoroughly drenching the area and clearing out the park Greg and I headed back for a few rides.

After waiting forty-five minutes after the lightening cleared the area Six Flags sent around a few empty trains before opening up the Eagle.

With the Eagle up to form, freshly slicked down tracks and night closing around us we had a ton of really fantastic rides.  The way it was running I think the Screamin' Eagle might be moving up in my ranking this year.

The Bugs Bunny Night's Celebration in the Old Glory Theatre was a nice show to end the day with.

It was a nice day at Six Flags St. Louis.  I'm glad to see some of the life back in the park and to see the positive changes going on.  The park isn't perfect but at least they're moving up rather than going down like they've been.
