Titan was one of the two coasters we needed to complete our Six Flags Over Texas trip. Titan like the Judge Roy Scream is way out there away from most of the park. It is so far out away from the park's main loop that it has power lines between the park and it.

Titan is one of two hyper coasters sold and built by Giovanola.

Giovanola is one of those companies that has had its hand in many coasters but is not that well known.

Giovanola primarily has built components for other designers rides. They have built parts for Intamin, Bolliger and Mabillard among others and in 1998 they decided to build their own.

In the US they went for the hyper coaster market building Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 2000 and Titan which is a similar design with an extra helix in 2001. Unfortunately after building Titan Giovanola went into bankruptcy and as of 2004 was no more.
