The Georgia Cyclone at Six Flags Over Georgia, Austell, GA

Saturday March 26, 2005 was the end to my long coaster less off season.  It was the date of Six Flags Over Georgia's Spring Break Out event that was organized by the ACE Southeast Region.  I spent the night with Robert Ulrich and the two of us headed over to the park bright and early as we had to set up registration for the event by seven in the morning.

The Georgia Cyclone looked glorious in the morning light and was to be one of the highlights of the day with night time exclusive ride time but the day before it's drive belt broke.  While I would have liked to have been thrown around by the Cyclone this was one of the best events I've been to and I don't plan on missing any more Spring Break Outs.

I always enjoy being in a park when it's not open.  It's really serene with no crowds or noises you can truly enjoy what a beautiful place Six Flags Over Georgia is.

The Georgia Scorcher was supposed to be the first ride of the day but it was being a bit temperamental so Jim and Andi Westland and myself headed on over to the coolest Scrambler ever, the Shake, Rattle & Roll.

My first coaster of the 2005 season was Batman.
