Are you afraid of heights?
Are you afraid of being hoisted up into the stratosphere with nothing
at all below your feet...that is except for the ground with over a hundred
feet of space between them? Then Acrophobia
is NOT the ride for you. But if you like a thrill give it a whirl.
Acrophobia hoists you into the air not only with nothing under your feet but once
you get to the top you tilt out so it's easier to look straight down.
Way cool!
I think that all parks need at least
some sort of a mine train type ride. Something the whole family
can ride together and has a few thrills for everyone. The Dahlonega
Mine Train may be a little hard to pronounce (Robert instructed me and
I still can't say it right) but it's a fun mild coaster.
For the most of the ride it's one
of the mellowest mine trains that I've been on but it redeems itself
in the end with a nice drop into a tunnel.
Six Flags Over Georgia's car ride
wraps around the hill at the center of the park for a nice drive.
I was really impressed with the layout, look and feel of the park.
There are plenty of trees for shade under the hot Georgia sun and there
was a nice breeze to keep everyone cool.
