Despite having a trim brake that robs it of way too much speed half
the way through the ride The Cyclone is fun but not amazing.
As twisted a layout as The Cyclone has half the fun for me was just trying
to figure out where it was going to take us next.
It is sad to see a coaster like the Cyclone go but having been on several
of Rocky Mountain's designs I have no doubt that the reincarnation of the
Cyclone is not going to be mellow, tame or neutered. I don't think
I'm going out on a limb when I say that it is going to be a hell of a ride
whatever the sick geniuses at Rocky Mountain Construction do to it.
Just like his "Coaster Uncle" Bryan "Waterboy" Lydy Bond is drawn towards
water rides on a hot summer day. He wanted to take Penguin's Blizzard
River for a go and as you can see he got just what he wanted, he got wet.
This is Pandemonium which is a Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster. These
are production model coasters and I have been on four of them while Bond
had only been on three so we hopped in line and took it for a quick credit
ride for him.
