In this little station behind the parks Grand Carousel sits a piece of coaster history that I was completely looking forward to getting to experience over and over again.

This is a small coaster by the standards of 2019 but back in 1976 it started a revolution that is still with us today.

Aptly named this coaster is The Revolution.

When it opened in 1976 it was called "The Great American Revolution". In the 1980's it was "La Revolución".

When I made my first (and only other visit until now) visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain in 2001 the ride was just known as "The Revolution".
