Goliath @ Six Flags Magic Mountain

Goliath starts out with several big drops and ends with some great twists and turns.

Goliath @ Six Flags Magic Mountain

As Jeff Johnson said of Goliath on Robb and Sarah's Home Movies 2000 "Thank god it has a mid course brake" If you weren't slowed down there would be some serious blacking out due to the G forces

Goliath flies up out of the tangled mess if it's track up into the station brakes.

Here's a nice view from the Viper of Superman, Goliath and the Revolution.

Flashback @ Six Flags Magic Mountain

The one, the only (thank god) Flashback.   Flashback is a Intamin designed coaster called a Space Diver.  Basically all the ride does is do a Z shaped element about six times through the course of the ride.

I actually like the layout of the ride but the problem is with the trains which are some of the worst trains in the history of coasters.   They are very uncomfortable and painful.  First off the shoulder harnesses are totally unneeded and their removal and lap bars being added would seriously improve Flashback.  Secondly I don't know what it was but the seat had several hard plastic pieces poking me right in the shoulder blades.  Personally I'd love to see some modern B&M trains on it.

Here's another negative...you can't see at all out of this train...it's like a coffin.  One really good thing about Flashback is it has a great ending.
