The Demon Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

The Demon's corkscrew has always been one of the most photogenic spots in the park.

I do have to say that the last time Bond and I rode The Demon five or six years ago it hurt so bad we swore off the ride.

I'm glad we decided to give it another ride because it was running great. I don't know what Six Flags Great America did to it but the Demon is totally worth riding now.

The Whizzer Roller Coaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

After a ride on The Demon it was time for Bond and my favorite coaster at Six Flags Great America...The Whizzer.

Reminiscing here a little bit back to 2002. Six Flags Great America had announced that The Whizzer was going to be scrapped and for 2003 Superman would be built on this spot. Bond being two was just barely tall enough to ride so this was his first coaster. I remember sitting there on the brake run on what was Bonds first ride and what we thought was all of our final ride hearing him say "again".
