The back seat is the place for Bond and I as we love being whipped over
the top of Goliath's one hundred and sixty-five foot tall lift hill down
a eighty-five degree one hundred and eighty foot first drop.
The fifteen foot difference between Goliath's lift height and drop is
due to there being a fifteen foot deep tunnel at the bottom of the first
drop.
Occupying a very narrow and small strip of land at Six Flags Great
America Rocky Mountain Coasters and Alan Shilke had to come up with
quite a few twists to shoehorn 3100 feet of track onto the site.
All of the twists and turns of Goliath are fun but the ride really
shines when...
...it turns you upside down and leaves you hanging there with nothing
beneath you for a hundred or so feet of track.
