It's 3:30 am on a Thursday morning.  Where would we be?  In bed like any other sane person?  Nope we're not sane...we're at Six Flags Great America to help break in the parks newest coaster: X-Flight. 

The reason we look cold is, well we are cold as it was 40 degrees out.



Here's JCoaster95 from the Negative-G Forums all giddy with anticipation for X-Flight.



X-Flight's cool sign greeted us when we arrived at the coaster.  X-Flight sits in the County Fair section of Six Flags Great America.  It is where the old Great America Raceway car and Splashwater Falls ride used to be.  There were a few of the Raceway cars sitting around in the area so hopefully they will be brought back into the park at some point as they're a nice ride for those not brave enough to strap into a thrill ride like X-Flight.



As the first rays of sunlight rose above the horizon the shape of X-Flight was slowly revealed to us as we waited for our ride time to begin.
