The Demon Rollercoaster at Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois

The Demon is as cheesy as the Mars Cheese Castle, that is just across the border up in Wisconsin.

The Demon has so much cheesy goodness going for it .  There's the hilarious spiel that will make you bust a gut if they happen to be playing it in the line, there's the cool logo on the front of the train, the bubble lights over the entrance to the tunnel that look like they were stolen from a roller rink to the first tunnel that takes you to the faux stone supported lift.

The cheesy story behind the Demon's theming is that the Turn of the Century (AKA:  The coaster that became The Demon) was "re-possessed" by a demon who added the volcanic looking stonework and first two loops.

It was bad ass back in the days of mullets and Camaros, so revel in it.  Crank up the Rick Springfield, 38 Special or Night Ranger and take the Demon for a spin back in time.
