The Iron Rattler rollercoaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio, Texas

Early in the day with Iron Rattler running a little slow this roll is really different than later in the day.  Going a few miles an hour slower you get a little hang time while rolling over the track beneath you which is kind of fun if you are someone like me or it can be a little disconcerting if coasters are a frightening thing for you.

From the vantage of the bottom of the quarry after the zero-g roll the Rattler disappears for a few minutes before appearing over the top of the rock wall for one last dive into the quarry.

I love watching all of the hair going flying as airtime sends everything not strapped in skyward.

Watching people on coasters it is easy to see those who are the daredevils who let go and go with the ride and those who are fighting it and holding on for their life.

Then you've got drama queens like this person in the front seat striking a dramatic pose as they barrel down into the quarry.
