The American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Christmas event at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri

As we were instructed to head up and take a look at the 2018 project from the Culinary & Craft School's back porch here is the view that greeted us.

As you can see from looking through the trees the worksite for whatever is coming in (the safe money is on a coaster) spreads from Thunderation all the way behind the Echo Hollow Amphitheater off towards the Grand Exposition.

Where Thunderation used to be hidden from sight due to the clearing you can get a little view of it.

Let's get down into the geeky obsessive compulsive...footers...BIG footers!  Rumors have been saying that this is going to be some sort of a world record holder so if one of those is going to be height related you're going to need some massive footers to support a huge structure.

One thing that really surprised me while looking around at the construction site was this suspicious looking painted tube sitting off in the woods to the side of the Culinary and Craft School.  It sure looks like some support structure to me rather than some pipe.  Do we have parts arriving already?  If so we are going to have a heck of a clear idea what it is going to be way before the August 2017 announcement.
