Silver Dollar City
Branson, Missouri
An Old Time Christmas
November 7 & 8, 2013
Page Three
Silver Dollar City with its wooded and hilly terrain is gorgeous any
time of the year but with the leaves turned and falling, along with sunny
days and temperatures that were really warm the weather was perfect for
an end of the season coaster run.
The only thing one misses out on visiting in the fall is that Silver Dollar
City's two really fun water rides, the American Plunge log flume and this
one the Lost River of the Ozarks rapids ride, are closed for the season.
We love Powder Keg, Thunderation, Wildfire and Fire in the Hole but this
coaster is what was really calling us back down to Silver Dollar City.
As you can see Bond is extremely excited to be back in the environs of Outlaw
Run.
What was even more exciting than having Outlaw Run in our sights is that
this sign didn't change one bit during the two days we were there.
With two minutes to walk through the queue to your seat, another minute
waiting for a train, one and a half minutes loading and another one and
a half minutes riding Outlaw Run it wasn't that hard to get nine to ten
rides in over an hours time.
