Having gotten my child hooked to S&S "Screaming Swing" rides last year he was extremely excited to find out that there was one at Silver Dollar City called The Giant Barn Swing.

Silver Dollar City has very meandering pathways going all around the park and the Barn Swing is kind of hidden behind a few things so if you start wondering if you're headed the right way don't worry, you're on the right path.

The Giant Barn Swing is made to look like it's in the middle of a huge barn. Silver Dollar City really takes theming to a new level because everything is themed, even the concrete; which looks like floor is make out of hay bales as it is a farm.

Honestly if there were any ride that I could make it mandatory for all amusement parks to have it'd have to be a Screaming Swing because it's something everyone can love. I mean all the Giant Barn Swing is really the backyard or playground swing that we all loved from childhood sized up a few hundred times and powered by giant pistons. It's a ride that everyone can love and pretty much everyone who hops on The Giant Barn Swing does.
