Hades Roller Coaster at Mount Olympus Theme & Water Park, Wisconsin Dells, Winter 2008

Hades, being the "Lord of the Underworld" traverses the parking lot at Mount Olympus in a tunnel only to emerge right next to the Wisconsin Dells Parkway and works as a giant billboard to draw the millions of tourists that flock to the Dells every year into the park.

If you were standing where this photo was taken today you'd see a radically different Hades than I saw back in 2008 or when I last visited the Dells in 2011.

In the winter of 2012/2013 Mount Olympus and the designer of Hades, The Gravity Group completely removed this hill coming out of Hades tunnel.

The hill is no longer a hill but was turned into a corkscrew to breathe some new life into the ride and park.

As a result Hades is no more and now it is Hades 360.
