X-Coaster is the only Mauer Sohne Sky Loop coaster on the continent and on my last visit the ride operator was more than a little enamored with her ride.



To her it was the greatest ride ever and to hear her talk X-Coaster was the best thing since sliced bread.



The park was about as empty that time as it was this visit and when we asked if we could ride it again without getting off as there was no one in line she went into this long spiel in her sweet southern accent about how if we rode again without getting off our blood pressure would go up so high our heads would "just explode all over the ride".



The reason one's blood pressure might go up enough to make your head explode on X-Coaster is due to the rides rather non conventional layout.  Leaving the station the lift takes you up vertically one hundred and fifty feet...



...before completely inverting you leaving you hang upside down against your restraints for a few.
