The X-Coaster Rollercoaster at Magic Springs Amusement Park, Hot Springs, AR

After twisting around a hundred and fifty feet in the air eventually you reach the far end of X Coaster's one hundred and ninety-six foot long footprint and turn Earthward.

It's always nice seeing Mother Earth below you...

...only to come rushing up at you at extreme speeds as you dive straight down.  You don't stop at the bottom, instead you speed through the station head up the lift hill, stall out, fall back through the station, up the hill, stall out again, go back through the station and up the lift hill where the chain grabs you and lowers you into the station for the end of the ride.

Being totally in love with this ride and with no one at the park and no one in line we of course asked to ride again.  This is where we had one of the most bizarre conversations that we've had at any amusement park.

"If you ride it again without getting off you'll die" the lady ride operator said in a sweet southern drawl.

"What" we all answered pretty bemused.

"The Geeee forces are soo high on this ride that if you ride it again without walking around your blood pressure will go through the roof and make your heads explode and then you'll die."

I kind of pictured that scene in "Scanners" where that guys head explodes.  Still, we've been on considerably higher force rides this weekend as well as other times again and again but not wanting to be argumentative we got off and walked around for another ride.
