After the surprise ride on the Little Leaper we headed onto the big ride at Lakemont Park the John Allen designed Skyliner.

The Skyliner began in 1960 at Roseland Park in New York state.

Skyliner is a "L" shaped double out and back design that was one of John Allen's first coasters after he took the reins of chief designer at the Philadelphia Toboggan Company from the legendary designer Herbert Schmecck.

Like most of his designs John Allen was a fan of airtime and the Skyliner has plenty of that for you.

In 1985 Roseland Park closed for good and at that point Lakemont Park was at a crossroads that would bring the two together.
