Like one of my favorite theme parks in the world; Holiday World, Lake Compounce offers free soft drinks with admission.



As you can see Bond loves the free drinks as much as I do.  Honestly if more parks just upped their prices a dollar or two and rolled that into drink stations like Lake Compounce and Holiday World does they'd see an increase in food purchases and admissions.  Free drinks gives the customer much more added value than it could ever cost the park.  In this day and age the more added value you can give your customer gets them to visit you and gets them to visit you more.



The only problem with free drinks and a park full of teenagers is many of them have not gotten the concept of throwing their used cups into the trash cans.



Like most people addicted to Flyers, especially a classic one like this classic Rocco Flying Scooters from 1937 seeing one got my heartbeat up.



Bond and I hopped right in line but after watching a ride cycle and seeing how slow it went we knew there would be no "action" on this ride.  Sad.
