Cannibal's Immelmann inversion leaves you hanging there with a gorgeous view
of the mountains in the distance.
Following up the Immelmann inversion Cannibal heads back towards the
park where it sends you up into a dive loop.
A dive loop is an Immelmann in reverse and both inversions send you
out the opposite direction you entered the loop.
Cannibal is all big drops and big loops before you hit the mid-course
brake.
From the mid-course on though Cannibal becomes a different ride with
tight rolls; including the weird "Lagoon roll" which rolls you one way
and then rolls you the opposite direction, and helices through and
around the
castle, cliffs and waterfalls that are built into the ride.
Our take on Cannibal? Loved it! Unfortunately it did not
love us back. It was a bit finicky with us as it broke down here and
there all day long. That's why many of my photos have an empty
train as the only time I could catch it for a photo maintenance was
testing it before reopening it. Throw a massive dance competition
on the day we visited with herds of teenagers on top of the maintenance
issues and we were lucky to get the two rides we did. I need to
come back on some day when Lagoon is empty so I can really enjoy the
heck out of Cannibal because it is a great ride.
