You can get a nice view of the park from the Minirail when it takes you around the back side of Lac des Dauphins. I wish we would have had time to ride La Ronde's Ferris Wheel because the view of the city and river along with the park would have been great from up there and up on the Spirale.

You can get a nice view of Le Monstre and Spirale from across Lac des Dauphins as you loop the park on the Minirail.

Orbite is La Ronde's tower ride. Over the lake is an interesting place to put it. I guess if the car ever flies off the top like you could do in the Rollercoaster Tycoon video game by cranking up the rides launch speed the riders could always have a splashdown in the lake.

I know rides like Minirail are not fancy, big draws or thrill rides but I wish more parks had them because it is nice to slow down a little bit and take a nice cruise around a park.

Sitting here writing this it really blows my mind at how big my boy is getting. If you've been reading what I've been putting up since 2000 you've seen him grow. I have a great time with him and any day at a park with him is a magical and memorable one.
