The next stop for us was for another Vekoma coaster; Le Boomerang.

Here is "Illinois Mike" Bond and "Alabama Mike" (two of the three Mikes on the Negative-G Forums) waiting for a ride on Le Boomerang.

Bond, who as he puts it is on a "Boomerang free diet" was not thrilled to take on Le Boomerang but he agreed that if we are visiting parks far away that we rarely get to visit that he would ride all of the coasters there including Boomerangs. What he dreaded was that four of the seven parks we were visiting on this trip have Boomerangs and that this was the first of them.

Vekoma has produced forty-five of their Boomerang coasters and this one at La Ronde was one of the first when it opened in 1984.

Paul and Kevin are either smiling because they are going to ride another Boomerang or they are smiling because they were having a great time hanging out. My money on why they are smiling is the latter reason.

Forwards and backwards Boomerangs can look cool.
