While wandering around Knoebels there are little historical plaques
like this at most of the rides there. It is just so cool how Knoebels
and the Knoebel family are so proud of the amazing park they have built
and all of the world class rides they have that they like to show them off
a bit.
Here is Mr. Bond getting ready for his first spin on the Knoebels Twister.
With a name like Twister it would be wrong for there to be no twisting or
turns on such a ride. Don't worry there is no false advertising with
regard to Twister. It gives just what it says.
Wrapping around the station at the center of the ride is Twister's signature
double helix.
You fly through the helix and then speed into the crossover covered remainder
of the ride. If you like speeding through coaster structure at high
speed with bents and boards whizzing by then the Twister is the ride for
you.
