The new for 2017 Mystic Timbers Wooden Rollercoaster at Kings Island, Kings island, Ohio

Straight drops are fun but a nice spiraling drop is a fun disorienting way to kick off a ride.

I really like how Kings Island put a lot of thought into the theming of Mystic Timbers.

I mean that could have plopped down a ride and thought up a generic name and let that be that.

But with the whole mystery about what's in the shed, the queue all decked out with a wrecked truck, TV footage of mysterious goings on in the woods and the trains all tricked out to look like a truck from the Miami River Lumber Company just adds to the whole ride.

I do really geek out and enjoy it when a park takes pride and has a lot of fun with their newest addition.
