One can not survive on coasters alone. Kings Island took fantastic care of us with breakfast and lunch. Here Mr. and Mrs. Gump (aka: Todd and Sarah) are enjoying a very tasty chicken strip meal from The Chicken Shack.

After lunch Kings Island opened a few more rides in the Action Zone for the crowds of enthusiasts to enjoy like the newly christened The Bat.

Todd was pretty tired. In fact he was so tired that the "Mouth of the South" as he is known as actually let a few other people get a few words into the conversation.

The coaster now known as The Bat has had many names.

It opened up in 1993 as Top Gun, then it became the Mach 3 Flight Deck (I hate naming coasters after products) and then just Flight Deck before Kings Island decided to resurrect the Bat name that once was used for the parks previous Arrow Dynamics designed Suspended Coaster.
