The Diamondback Roller Coaster at Kings Island, Kings Mills, Ohio

This is such a great idea.  Last year Kings Island collected all of the phones and cameras that were sacrificed to Diamondback in it's first few months of operation and put them on display here.  This is why fanny packs and cargo shorts are great is because they let you secure your phone or camera where they're not going to fly out and get sacrificed to the ride.

What the heck is the Flying Ace Aerial Chase?  What happened to Reptar?  Well with Cedar Fair's take over of the old Paramount Parks like Kings Island they had to remove all of the Nickelodeon theming so the rest of the kids area has been re-themed and Reptar is now the Flying Ace Aerial Chase.

Like Cedar Point the week before we were able to get into the park early for a bunch of Diamondback rides and when the rest of the park opened we headed for the Ace as Bond wanted to ride it and it always has a line.  Well not always as we ended up getting this coaster to ourselves as the crowds hadn't made it that far back into the park yet.

Our next stop was the Backlot Stunt Coaster which has a new and uglier body on the trains.  When this coaster opened as the Italian Job Stunt Track it had trains that looked like Mini Cooper cars.  When Cedar Fair purchased the Paramount chain they did not purchase the right to have the trains look like the Mini Coopers so of course they were sued.  As a result the trains kind of look like the Mini Coopers but not really.  Also the locking doors are gone and any sort of car-like theming on the inside of the car as well.
