With the launch over with Sky Rocket rockets you straight up to the top of a ninety-five foot "top hat".



Once you are up there Sky Rocket has a little brake in order to slow it down just enough those in front can stare straight down the ninety degree drop that lies ahead.



Take a deep breath during that pause at the top as you are going to need the oxygen when Sky Rocket leaves you breathless.



Sky Rocket has a heck of a great opening and some of us feel the urge to grab a hold for dear life while others just throw their hands up in the air and ask for more.



There is Bond sitting in the front seat taking Sky Rocket for a ride.

Not only was Kennywood gracious in giving us exclusive access to their coasters but we were allowed to go under Sky Rocket in areas you normally can't so photographers like myself could shoot Sky Rocket.  So after a few rides I left John, Draven and Bond behind, whipped out my camera and headed under Sky Rocket to shoot away.
