The Steel Phantom Roller Coaster at Kennywood Park, West Mifflin, PA

The idea for Steel Phantom began after Kennywood's CEO rode Shockwave at Six Flags Great America.  He liked the rides curving first drop and wanted something like that for his park.

The idea sat for a while and one day the thought came to him "what about diving the coaster through Thunderbolt and down the hillside".
