Kemah Boardwalk including the Boardwalk Bullet rollercoaster in Kemah, Texas

The Boardwalk Bullet sits on barely an acre of land and has over 3,200 feet of track making for probably the most track per acreage of any coaster.

The lift is ninety-six feet tall and if you mix that height, length and an insanely small footprint you end up with a completely sick (in a good way) and twisted tangle of aggressive coaster fun.

Oh a little side benefit to the whole height, length and area equation is that makes the Boardwalk Bullet a record holder with the most number of cross overs.  Most coasters; especially wooden, depending on the layout might cross over itself ten times while the Boardwalk Bullet crosses over and under itself a whopping forty-two times.  On a simple engineering standpoint designing a structure to support that much track in such a small space crossing over itself that many times was an epic challenge and a work of art.  This is the one coaster that the guys at The Gravity Group need to send prospective customers to in order to showcase what they can do.

After a trip up the lift the Boardwalk gives you a nice chance to look around and enjoy the view of Kemah, the surrounding area and Galveston Bay as it takes you two hundred and seventy degrees before kicking into high gear.

The first drop on the Boardwalk Bullet isn't just a simple drop depending on where you sit.  How far back you go on the train gives you more of a kick in the seat the closer you are to the back.
