As speeding through this turn it is nice to take a look to the left
and see the ocean and sails on the horizon.
For the last fifty years the seaside amusement park and roller coasters
have been an endangered species. While the numbers aren't up enough
to take it off the list it's nice to see at least some work in the right
direction with the addition of the Boardwalk Bullet.
The Boardwalk Bullet is just a blur as it speeds by buried in the structure.
That's one of the things I liked about Houston's last wooden coaster, the
Texas Cyclone at at the now demolished Six Flags Astroworld. After
taking the top layer the Cyclone would plunge you deep into the structure
with wood whizzing by you.
Here's Kevin, Greg and I after another ride in the back seat of the Boardwalk
Bullet. Yes I know that I have the whole "deer in the headlights"
look but that's just my reaction after the wicked ride in the back seat.
