These two photos are my favorites. This is a shot of the drop after the dogleg turn. I love all the fall colors.

This is the stretch of track between the dogleg turn and the Jack Rabbit's turnaround. I was unable to get back to the turnaround because it was a rainy day and the turnaround was completely overgrown. Besides I was muddy enough.

It's interesting to walk around a place like Idora that was once full of life but was slowly turning into just memories. It makes me appreciate what parks that are open, especially small family ran ones because without our patronage they could fade back into the earth just like Idora Park.
