Storm Rush is an Intamin designed "Accelerator Coaster" which I think is their marketing lingo for a launched coaster with loops.

You slowly pull out of Storm Runner's dual loading station onto the launch track where riders have a few moments to say "Oh HELL NO" as the lady in the front seat is thinking as she looks down the launch track and  up the one hundred and fifty foot tall hill that comes after it.  The guy is all "look cool, look cool" and then a split second later...

...BAM and they have a seventy-five mile per hour kick in the pants shooting them down the track.  I love these couple of photos because of the expressions on the couple in the front.

Storm Runner's hydraulic launch is a nice solid shot unlike the magnetic launching systems where it takes a second or two for the acceleration to really kick in.
