Wow I look horrible here. This is how tired I look after partying it up in Montreal for four days.

The Boomerang roller coaster at Six Flags The Great Escape, Queensbury, New York

The final coaster at The Great Escape for Bond to add to his coaster count was the second of the four Vekoma Boomerang coasters on our trip. Unfortunately for his coaster count and fortunately for his "Boomerang Free Diet" The Great Escape's Boomerang was closed. A closed Boomerang is a big two thumbs up from Bond.

Here is a parting shot of The Great Escape as we headed out to get back on the road. The Great Escape is one of those little parks tucked away off the beaten path like Knoebels, Indiana Beach or Lake Winnepeseukah that are just magical in some way. They don't have the biggest, newest, most intense rides but they do give you a fun and special experience that you can't mass produce. These are places I wish were a whole lot closer to where I lived because they are so much fun to spend a day at.
