A big reason for the delay is once designed a large part of the rides attraction; namely the trees and plants that were brought in to surround the coaster needed time to grow.



Quicksilver Express is not just a coaster.  The ride is just another way to experience all of the greenery that was meticulously placed around the coasters 2,139 feet of track.



You could say that the Quicksilver Express needed to grow a little before opening up.



Being a mine train coaster Quicksilver Express keeps you close to the ground as it winds back and forth around the mountainside.



It has two lifts.  The first is just twenty-eight feet tall while the second lift is just twelve feet higher.
