The Iron Shark Roller Coaster at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, Galveston, Texas

One of the most unnerving moments on Iron Shark is if you are sitting on the right side of the car. As you are speeding out of the loop there is nothing before you but ocean.

As you can see here the right side of the car hangs out over the surf which makes for a really fun and unique finale.

The Texas Star Flyer at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, Galveston, Texas

Further on down the Pleasure Pier is another star attraction.

That is the Texas Star Flyer swing ride.

If you really want an amazing view of Galveston Island, the Gulf of Mexico and everything around you can get it as the Star Flyer takes you up a 230 foot tall tower and spins you around at 43 MPH.
