Kentucky Rumbler Construction & In Action Pictures Are U

Postby Paul Drabek » Mon Mar 20, 2006 6:43 pm

Hey All;

Yesterday we had a fantastic day at Beech Bend walking all around, over, under and on the Kentucky Rumbler and if that wasn't enough we got to ride it as well. Yes you heard me right we rode the Kentucky Rumbler yesterday and it rocked! Head on over here and check out the pictures of the whole event.

Have Fun

I've really enjoyed the photos and reading your captions. What a fun day! I'm so glad they let the guests ride and can only imagine everyone's ecxitement. Way to go Paul!

ps: Bond is now my favorite enthusiast with zero credits. :D

Actually Bond has four credits:

1. The Blue Flash (we put him in the seat and rolled him in reverse up the helix for his first credit)
2. The Whizzer (I had to put him on when they were going to rip it out - he actually liked it)
3. The Howler (rode it with Mommy and was frightened by the loud lift)
4. The Rollerskater (he didn't like the back seat)

Those were all years ago and now we're going to let positive peer pressure (especially from a girl in his class who is fearless about rides) get him on the coasters.

Have Fun

Paul

You've jogged my memory. I recall Bond on Blue Flash as well as Whizzer. He's still my favorite junior enthusiast. Keep on riding Bond.

And... Its in my backyard, I will get to ride it at least by the 11th of May. Finals day, and I dont have finals on that Friday, and they are open!!

Not to mention, I could possibly sweet talk a way to ride Rumbler before April, no, wont happen, maybe within the first 2 weeks of April, wow, two GCII Woodies in 2 weeks... HOW FRIGGIN SWEET WOULD THAT BE?

Yes my first coaster isn't at my "holi-home" and it never has been as I'm normally at Six Flags sometime in March.

Just a rumor but I hear Rumblefest's ERT may go later than the midnight end time. That whole weekend is going to be sweet!

Have Fun
